DMHA’s waiting list is closed. The Delaware Metropolitan Housing Authority closed the waiting list effective June 1, 2009 and is no longer accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. Applications received or postmarked after May 31, 2009 will NOT be processed. DMHA has determined that the waiting list has grown to the level that the persons currently on the list cannot be served within the next 12 months. Once the list reaches a point that is more manageable, DMHA will re-open the list.
